Mercedes Benz Fashion Week
It was only a matter of time for this to happen. Diesel's creative minds met their fellow Italian friends from Fiat. The result? The new Fiat 500 by Diesel. Make a permanent mark: Help save children’s lives Welcome Maddison, the new face at B1 Model Management. More images will come soon. The Chinese Vogue gets into a British mood. The November Issue will feature the British Country Style presented by Toni Garrn and photographed by Corinne Day. Inventive, enigmatic, and supremely creative, Stephen Sprouse made art and clothing that captured the mood of the 80’s. One of the first American designers to mix graffiti and a punk aesthetic with fashion, Sprouse manipulated conventional notions of style, and his unique sensibility has inspired designers from John Galliano to Raf Simmons to Marc Jacobs. Next week the label Salvatore Ferragamo is going to strengthen its ties with the art world when it commemorates this year's Frieze Contemporary Art Fair by transforming its Bond Street boutique into a temporary gallery space. The bells are ringing- its wedding time in London. This year’s Designer Wedding Show is about to kick off tomorrow in London’s Battersea Park. Karl Lagerfeld, Christian Lacroix, Elie Saab, Jasper Conran, Temperley London and Bruce Oldfield are only a few of the high profile names to show their amazing creations for every woman’s big day. Despite AnOtherMan launching merely three years ago, the publication has quickly established itself as one of the most acclaimed men’s magazines in the world. Now, with its latest issue, Dazed Group offers yet another season of rich insights into fashion, the arts, and cinema. The content within follows a theme of convergence, in which history and prospect combine to mold the present state of culture. Paris Fashion Week ended on Sunday, capping a season which saw designers play it safe to coax customers into stores despite the global financial crisis. Designers in Paris whipped up a rainbow burst of colors yesterday as an antidote to the economic blues plaguing the luxury industry. The fashion and art world is abuzz with the news that early next year, Pierre Berge plans to auction off the the art collection that he and his recently deceased partner, Yves Saint Laurent have collected over their 30 years together. An art dealer told the media that the legendary fashion designer needed art “like water to survive”. For his Paris debut, Diesel meets Fiat
"The Fiat 500 symbolises Italy the way I would like it always to be - creative, passionate, cheerful - which is why the first car by Diesel could have only been a Fiat 500," comments Diesel founder Renzo Rosso. "We put all the values that we and Fiat strongly believe in, into this project; the same ones that allowed the brand Diesel to become what we are and what we stand for in t...
